EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Lisa Diez - ldiez.able@gmail.com

Lisa Diez is the Executive Director of ABLE Social Services. She is an alcohol and drug counselor and has a Bachelors in Psychology and received a Masters in Theological Studies from the University of Northwestern. Lisa is certified to  facilitate and provide Anger Management/Domestic Violence classes, DUI/DWC classes, and Rule 25/Comprehensive Assessments. Lisa has worked within the community as a Director of post acute healthcare agencies and has a passion for health equity. Lisa serves on the boards for NSP Food Shelf and Meals from the Heart addressing food insecurity.


PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Alejandro Diez - adiez.able@gmail.com

Alejandro Diez is the Program Director of ABLE Social Services. He received his Masters Degree in Human Services from the University of Northwestern and is a LGSW with the state of MN. Alejandro has managed and facilitated a diverse range of programs within the community in English and Spanish on mental health, chemical dependency, and domestic abuse. He is certified to facilitate and provide Anger Management/Domestic Violence classes, DUI/DWC classes, and Rule 25/Comprehensive Assessments. Alejandro serves on the board of Faith Partners, addressing substance use and abuse.


FACILITATORS

Rachelle McKee

Rachelle McKee facilitates the English-speaking Anger Management/Domestic Violence classes and DUI/DWC classes. She has been working in the chemical dependency field since 2012 and has a passion to help people struggling to overcome addiction and learn healthy coping mechanisms. Rachelle is a certified Life Coach and certified in Crisis and Verbal Intervention. She has been studying addiction, trauma, and sociology since 2007.


Carmen Nahir Medina

Carmen Nahir Medina is a Certified Family Recovery Specialist who works as a Case Manager for individuals experiencing Substance Use Disorder. She is one of the boardof directors and presenter on addictions and families for The GOAL Project (Global Addiction Recovery Partners), an addiction education organization. Carmen serves as a church youth leader and a part-time missionary. She is passionate about assisting Spanish communities and others with substance use disorder, encouraging them to make positive life changes. She also teaches DUI (Driving under the influence) courses and Domestic Violence Courses.
